　　Amycel 2600

　　 Amycel 2600 is an excellent strain for the processed or canning market. Amycel 2600 will give
　　 excellent yields with a smooth white cap, along with a good shelf life. Amycel 2600 is
　　 characterized by its distinctively flat cap and elongated veil. Its general appearance and good
　　 shelf life make it an excellent fresh market

　　Amycel Alpha

　　 Amycel ALPHA is the premier fresh market strain with excellent growing characteristics and
　　 handling qualities. Amycel ALPHA has a very similar cap morphology to the U1 type with a well
　　 rounded shape, dense tissue and white colouring. The Amycel ALPHA mushroom also has a
　　 small gill area and heavy stipe which encourages a longer shelf life.

　　Amycel Maxx

　　Amycel Magnum

　　 Amycel Magnum has been selected to provide the grower with an improved size mix selection over its
　　 sister strain Amycel 2200. Like 2200, Magnum is a hybrid with easy handling characteristics
　　 bur with slightly larger sizing that is similar to other premium fresh market strains.
　　 The cap morphology is quite similar to Amycel Delta with the cap tending to flatten
　　 slightly during subsequent breaks.

　　Amycel Bella

　　Marketing Characteristics

　　 Amycel BELLA does well in the fresh market with its excellent taste and marketability as an
　　 old fashioned brown. Its firm texture and enhanced flavour offer an alternative to white
　　 Agaricus strains. Mushroom slices have greater eye appeal due to the contrast between the
　　 brown cap colour and white internal tissue. The BELLA strain can be considered a specialty
　　 or exotic mushroom type for the consumer
